Board Members


Adam A. Neal, PhD​
Adam has worked in the community agency setting as well as the educational setting, providing psychotherapy to adolescents and adults managing issues ranging from depression and anxiety to sexual abuse and spiritual crises. Most recently, he served California Lutheran University's Community Counseling Services as a full-time clinician, educational presenter, and outreach coordinator through a grant from the American Red Cross to support wildfire relief efforts. He provided individual and conjoint psychotherapy to those impacted by the Thomas or Woolsey wildfires of 2017-2018, including trauma assessment and processing. As an educational presenter, he had the honor to present on mental health topics such as mindfulness, mental health first aid, trauma, and secondary trauma to such organizations as 2-1-1, Interface Children & Family Services, Jewish Family Services, the LA Woolsey Long-term Recovery Group, the Ventura Long-term Recovery Group, Ventura Unified School District, the Coalition for Family Harmony, the Conejo Coalition for Youth & Families, and Oxnard Family Circle. Adam previously served as a mental health clinician for the San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center, working with the post-incarceration population as a psychotherapist and case manager.
Adam completed his PhD in Transpersonal Psychology and MA in Counseling Psychology at Sofia University (The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology), with additional graduate certificates in Creative Expression and Dreams Studies. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, having earned his BA in both English and Theatre. He has contributed writing to The Therapist (July/August 2019), Mindfield (Parapsychological Association), Connections (San Fernando Valley CAMFT newsletter), and the AAMFT-CA newsletter. In addition, he has sold creative writing for multiple greeting cards to American Greetings and has contributed writing for use in statewide standardized tests through Inksplash, an educational publishing company based in New York City. Adam is passionate about supporting individuals and families in their healing, especially in the areas of ambiguous loss, grief, and spirituality.


Danielle Lee Bell, LMFT
Danielle is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a career rooted in service, leadership, and advocacy. Her diverse background spans from coaching high school speech and debate to a 25-year tenure in the Fire Service in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she specialized in training, emergency preparedness, and neurodiversity education for first responders.
A passionate advocate for neurodivergent individuals, Danielle has led statewide training initiatives on Autism and Sensory Processing Disorder for firefighters and police officers. She continues this work as an instructor for Crisis Intervention Teams in Northern California.
Holding a master’s in counseling psychology, Danielle now focuses on empowering parents and children, particularly those navigating neurodivergence. As a speaker and workshop facilitator, she is known for her compassionate, practical approach that helps families move forward with confidence.

Her work is deeply informed by her personal experience as a mother to a neurodivergent son. Danielle is dedicated to fostering growth, resilience, and meaningful connection in families and communities alike.


Michelle M. Daly, PhD, LPCC, ATR, IMH-E, HMCT
With a background in public health and holistic healing, Michelle embraces passion for integration of multiple disciplines within the fields of arts and sciences. Dr. Daly’s dedication to integrative health and education includes academic and professional experiences in mathematics, environmental health, art therapy, counseling, transpersonal psychology, cognitive neuroscience, research, and clinical practices. Dr. Daly has served as Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa, Art Director for the Creativity for Peace camp with Palestinian and Israeli young women, taught English as a Second Language (ESL), and engaged as interpreter and clinician for refugees and torture survivors. Along with her diverse global experiences, Dr. Daly promotes creativity and relational interconnectivity as well-springs for global health and well-being.
Dr. Daly’s extensive clinical experiences incorporate specialized training in Creative Arts Therapies; Grief, Loss, and Trauma; Interpersonal Neurobiology, Somatics and Action Methods; and Infant Mental Health as well as various trauma-specific treatment modalities. Dr. Daly has also developed, directed, and taught an Infant Mental Health certificate program that focused on interdisciplinary elements, preventative care, and healing within systems. Holding a doctorate in transpersonal psychology, Dr. Daly has concentrated on blending quantitative and qualitative research to explore intrapersonal, interpersonal, and global dynamics related to heart-based practices.
Engaging a service-oriented worldview, Dr. Daly’s experiences inspire her impetus and commitment to ongoing research, education, and clinical practices as pathways to integrated care and sustained healing for individuals, families, groups, systems, and global public health. Dr. Daly currently holds a position as Core Faculty at Sofia University and maintains a private practice.


Lisa D'Amico, PhD​
Raised in New York, Lisa holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Fine Arts and Education along with a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. Her artistic practice is informed by personal experiences and observations, with over 20 years of exhibition history and recognition, including the Art Leadership Award from the Arts Council of Rockland County, New York and the Weir Masterpiece Award from the National Park Service.
With 20 years of experience as a certified art teacher in New York and New Jersey, Lisa has been dedicated to fostering the next generation of artists. Lisa is also the co-founder of The Bluefield Artists and the Rockland Arts Festival, both of which celebrate creativity and community engagement. Additionally, her work as curator for the Rockefeller Gallery and as a published writer further strengthens my professional connection to the arts and cultural discourse.
Lisa looks forward to applying her experience and dedication at ProFound Arts to drive meaningful change and make a positive impact.
